The Camp Experience
If you haven't had the chance to join us yet, here's a quick video that sums up the camp vibe quite nicely.

Our second year welcomed: 73 musicians, ages 10-76, from 22 states and 11 countries! It was great to see so many returning faces.
Campers brought a spectrum of styles and created a community of support, sharing, and learning. We plugged in, grooved out, jammed, danced, and performed. Even though it’s a “fiddle” camp, that didn’t stop us from having folks on cello and viola. Don’t forget we’re open to any instruments interested in studying with this fantastic faculty in this setting, as long as they don’t mind being around a vio-centric group…in fact, we love a wild card, so tell your friends.
Camp wrapped up with an awesome show in BMC's largest venue featuring faculty, students, and one giant finale with everyone. I’ll be sharing more performances at my Youtube channel in the coming weeks so be sure to subscribe.
2026 FACULTY LINEUP
In the spirit of showcasing singular creative voices on the instrument, I’m thrilled to welcome five new faculty: Swedish music master and 5-string violist Mikael Marin; Cajun/Creole/Zydeco expert fiddler/accordionist/vocalist Cedric Watson; folk-funk-grass fiddler/singer Kathleen Parks; and jazz fusion drummer Jeff Sipe as our rhythm instructor; along with upright bassist Bryn Davies in our "house band."
With pleasure, I’ll once again be joined by my mentor, freestyle fiddle innovator, improviser, and chopper Darol Anger in a new role as Artist in Residence, and Clay Ross returns on guitar to round out the band. What a group! [Click the image for more info on our faculty]
